  • I had a very positive experience last Fall when one car needed new tires mounted and balanced. This time was was an equally positive experience. I had no problems getting an appointment when I wanted. I had ordered tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped to them. They called me in the afternoon to confirm tires had arrived and the I went by after work for a perfect install. Very professional.

  • My husband and I are on our 3rd vehicle with Treadquarters. The treat us fairly and take excellent care of our cars without being pushy. They always tell us everything that is wrong or needs attention however we never feel like we have to everything they suggest right then. We had one vehicle that caused us problems from the beginning and the dealership never really addressed it. And while Treadquarters was not able to correct the issue, ended up being a bad transmission that the manufacturer knew about, throughout the life of that car they tried everything to fix it. Even sometimes working late and doing things for free when it didn't work. I would not hesitate to recommend our Treadquarters to anyone.

  • You fixed the slow leak and patched the tire. My wife specifically asked to have just that tire balanced. You tried to talk her into doing all 4 tires plus numerous other costly services. You then left the old weights on the inside and removed the ones on the outside. The front end shook very badly on the road. I had to take it somewhere else and get the job completed for $22 dollars, plus take off 2 hours of work to find a shop to do the work. I have never had a tire repaired where re-balancing was not part of the repair. I would like to believe this was not a vindictive act, but the fact is you did remove some of the weights. This is the first time I have had cause to be upset or disappointed with work at this shop. There is no excuse for this to occur in a shop which supposedly specializes in this type of work. I doubt I will be back again!

  • Came in with tires needed up front and was helped by the manager, Peter. Peter scheduled the tire installation, and gave me an excellent price, using all coupons and discounts. I ended up replacing all 4 tires...it was done expeditiously, and the service was top notch! As I was waiting for my ride, it was near closing time. Peter offered to stay until my ride arrived. Highly recommended, as always.

  • I walked in unannounced and requested a tire change on a horse trailer. The folks were enjoying a few moments of no doubt well deserved peace between two appointments, and I am certain my showing up was not the highlight of their day. nevertheless, without hesitation, they immediately agreed to help and immediately set about fixing my problem. Then another challenge arose when the old decrepit lug nuts began disintegrating as they were removed. Scott managed to scrounge up enough to finish the job, however, and there was no delay. Amazing enthusiasm and resourcefulness! Thanks guys.

  • WAS OVERCHARGED FOR BRAKE SERVICE, NOT GIVEN ANY DISCOUNTS LIKE THEY DONE IN THE PAST. I GOT THE IMPRESSION THAT IF I SIGNED UP FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERANT. I HAVE 5 CARS AND I WOULD TAKE THEM TO TREAD QUARTERS FOR SERVICE/TIRES, NOW I WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY NOT TO RETURN TO THIS PLACE.

  • I went in for an oil change and possible set of new tires. They graciously fit me in last minute and did warn that it might be an hour for the oil change. I ended up with new tires and a transmission and differential flush. Due to the error of one of the mechanics, they did not have the right amount of fluid and had to go twice to get it. An appointment that should have been 3 hours, max, turned into 5 hours. The manager, Peter was gracious and did his best to make it right. I do understand that mistakes are made. I will still go back to this place because I feel like they are honest and do good work. This was an issue of a bad day.

  • I purchased a set of Michelin Defender tires today. I have only driven home but so far the ride is excellent. But I really wanted to comment on the service I received. The staff gave excellent advice on my purchase. I was swapping out my winter tires (also purchased at this store) and when I said it might take two trips to take the snow tires home, one of the staff members offered to follow me home with the tires! I'll definitely continue to shop there!

  • I had a 0 on the dash panel air indicator for a front tire. First stop at a filling station had an air kiosk with a broken gauge. The mechanic denied my request to borrow one. Next stop, at a quick mart, also had a broken kiosk.I went to a tire store where I was told they were too busy to help me. An off duty mechanic offered to install my spare tire. He found I didn't have one as my car has run on flat tires! He also found a slit and and the tire would not hold any air. I limped on down back roads to Clarksville where there were no tire stores open. I went on to Mount Airy, Maryland. Tread Quarters was still open Saturday evening and Peter Clement ,the manager greeted me in the parking lot. He said they would see what they could do to get me home safely. The tech patched the inside of the tire. I made it home 25 mile away. Although I have tire stores within a mile of my home, I went back to Tread Quarters on Monday to purchase a full set of tires. They definitely earned my business. The visit was pleasant and the pricing was good. I highly recommend Tread Quarters, Mount Airy, Maryland.
